Simon 250 Production Chart

From the graph you can see the level of on track competition peaked at round 3, the pace was very high and both Jeff Duke and Sam Phillips were pushing to the maximum. Jeff was unable to attend round 4 or 5. Sam endured a number of mechanical issues and on track incidents that slowed the pace in round 4, and was unable to attend round 5. With Simon’s two main competitors absent the pace was reduced to bring the bike home safely in first place for the final 4 races at round 5.

Team Tiger First: Elbow Down

Simon Dickson finished the 2014 season on a high, taking 4 wins from 4 in the 250 Production class to clench the Queensland Title and sealing first place in Southern Downs Road Race Series. He also managed to a pose for the camera while touching his elbow on the ground for the first time (excludes the many times he has touched his elbow while crashing or laying down after a big race).simonelbowdown

Final race of 2014

GaryOKThis weekend Team Tiger compete in their final race meeting of 2014. Round 5 of the Pirelli Southern Downs Road Race Series, also featuring the second and final round of the Queensland Road Race Championships for the 250 Production category. Gary Dickson and Kieran McGeown have both recovered from injury and will be making their return to racing. Simon holds a lead in the Southern Downs 250 Production class, and is a close second in the Queensland Title. Here is hoping the team enjoy a weekend of clean racing, Kieran and Gary will be out doing their best to get back into the swing of things so they are ready to assault the track in 2015!
